Carolyn Peck

Carolyn Peck is a retired visual art educator and Art Supervisor for Cranston Public Schools. She has been influential in the development of the Rhode Island Arts Framework and has continued to work on initiatives for graduation Proficiency in the Arts.
She has been honored with the Rhode Island Middle School Teacher of the Year Award, sponsored by the Rhode Island Art Educators Association and has been recognized by the Cranston Public Schools Committee for her active role in the district as well as her achievements in the classroom.


Carolyn has served as a presenter and panelist in numerous arts and literacy conferences in the state and has worked and exhibited as a printmaker and stained glass artist. Currently, she is a member of the advisory committee for Rhode Island College Art Department, a member of the Rhode Island School of Design Alumni Council, and the National Art Education Association. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Carolyn lives in Providence with her husband, George. They have two children.
