Mary K. Talbot is a public relations professional who provides media relations,
public affairs, community relations and marketing communications counsel. Prior
to establishing her own business eight years ago, she had served as director of
public relations for Citizens Bank, as a director of marketing and communications
for the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, as director of communications
for lieutenant governor of Rhode Island and as a vice president/senior account
executive at two regional, full-service marketing agencies. She has been honored
with the Boston Ad Club's Hatch Award, and has been recognized by the Publicity
Club of New England with numerous Bell Ringer Awards. In addition to her demanding
professional schedule, Talbot has maintained an active role in many non-profit
organizations in the community. Currently, she is a member of the advisory board
for Perishable Theatre and a member of the Women & Infants board of corporators.
Talbot has also served in leadership positions on many other boards, including
The Arts and Business Council of RI,The Music School and CITYARTS. A graduate
of Providence College and Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism,
Talbot lives in Barrington with her husband, Klaus O'Neal and her two sons, Connor
and Liam.
