Pawtucket: Twenty-six artists are participating in the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative’s Annual Open Juried Exhibit on display from September 3 through October 27, 2006 in the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative Gallery located at 175 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI 02680. This exhibit was juried by Pawtucket artist, Amy Wynne Derry. The participating artists include: Jerry Aissis, Robin Dunn Blossom, Herman Brewster, Wright Deter, Judi Dill, Ted Easler, Michele Gosselin, Barry Gropper, Brooke Hammerle, Don Hammontree, Lucas Kollassa, Mary Kosowski, Kelly Kruk, Joanne Lefebvre, Stanley Loniak, Tim McCarthy, Jorge O. Miranda, Carlos A. Ochoa, Augustin Patino, Mimo Gordon Riley, Betsy Ritz, Fadi Shawish, Barbara Shema, Gretchen Dow Simpson, C. C. Wolf and Patricia Wynne.

This exhibit features a variety of works including oils, photography, watercolors, pastels, sculpture, mixed media, acrylic on paper, jewelry, collage and found objects. The public is invited to meet the artists at the opening reception at the Gallery on Thursday, September 7 from 5:30-7:30pm at 175 Main Street, Pawtucket.

The Pawtucket Arts Collaborative Gallery is located at 175 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI , and is a state-certified arts gallery where all original one-of-a-kind artwork is exempt from RI State Sales tax. The staff of the Blackstone Valley Visitor Center will be happy to assist with all sales of artwork during this exhibit. The gallery is open 7 days a week from 9:00am-5:00pm.

Founded in October, 2000, the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative is a non-profit organization dedicated to “supporting, promoting and developing the arts for the community and its artists. We do this by creating awareness, education and involvement through its members”.
