Don’t miss the excitement at Perishable Theatre!
Important doings are happening at Perishable! The International Women’s Playwriting Festival has been progressing through the month of October. LINE, FALLING UP, and GOTHAM IS SAFE AGAIN! have all had a successful weekend run. Audiences have been treated to a range of emotional experiences. They have laughed. They have cried. One guy developed a rash, which I believe has more to do with his own personal hygiene than the plays. Now the time has come to merge the plays of Molly Rice, Trista Baldwin, and Laura Jacqmin into one dynamic weekend. The Full Festival Weekend will run November 2-5. Tickets are $15 Students/Seniors and $20 General, with performances at 8pm on Thursday-Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Don’t miss this final chance to see these exciting new plays. Visit http://www.arttixri.com or call (401)621-6123.Let’s not forget the opportunities offered by the Theatre Arts School here at Perishable. Call 331-2695 x 102 or email classes@perishable.org for more information. The Rush Hour Dance and Fitness series continues to offer adult classes in Belly-dancing, Yoga, and Modern Dance. All are great ways to stay active and help get rid of some of that stress from the work days. We also have the “Last Monday” series with Anne Mulhall, which features business and acting workshops for film and television. The nest offering, “C’mon, Do I Really Need a Class?” with Steve Feinberg will take place on Monday, November 27 at 7-10pm. Don’t wait, wonderful friends of Perishable Theatre. Come visit us at 95 Empire Street in downtown Providence. And I will continue to keep you posted on all the excitement that goes on in “the Lab”.
