Picture this: downtown Providence ablaze with African drummers in colorful prints, vendors serving up spoonfuls of lemon yellow ice, rock stars in cranberry-colored suits, saxophones glinting in the sun, antique marionettes, pink flamingos, Native American storytellers, bizarre larger-than-life masks, and…like a good summer festival, ice cream. Lots of it.
FirstWorksKids is June 16th, and we want you to be part of the picture!

1. In 23 days, yet another successful school year will be complete (phew). It’s Father’s day. It’s summer. You have so much to celebrate – let’s celebrate together!
2. Two words: Dan Zanes. If you haven’t yet heard of him, you’ll want to. He rocks (literally).
3. Free ticket ’round the world. How else can you experience Brazil, Cambodia, China, the Dominican Republic, Greece, India, Mexico, and Puerto Rico…without ever leaving Providence?
4. Finale Fiesta at Waterplace Park with a special guest appearance by Guarayson, flown in from Puerto Rico for your entertainment!
5. Every time you blink….there’s something new! (That’s a lot to see and experience – think about how many times you’ll blink before you’ve finished this email.)
