Now for the good news: the 48 hour film project is approaching. Starting next week, you’ll be able to sign up! So remember to save the weekend of July 27-29th, if you’re interested in taking part!
If you’re interested in helping out, there will be a planning meeting at the Trinity Brew Pub (186 Fountain St. in Providence) on Saturday, June 2nd at 2 PM. The plan is really to discuss strategies for getting the word out, sign up for volunteer positions, then split up into teams to hang some posters. Total time should be about 1.5 hours!
If you’d like to volunteer but can’t make it Saturday, please email Providence@48hourfilm.com – the roles we’ll need are:
- general assistance at the kick-off event in the evening of Monday, June 25th
- paperwork help at the start of the project, July 27th
- help at the conclusion, July 29th, 7PM
- ticket takers for the screenings, August 2nd or 3rd (Wednesday or Thursday)
You can help with 1 and 4, even if you’re participating as part of a team!
