June 24 + 25: FirstWorks Kids – A Free International Performance Festival for Kids & Their Families Performing arts and artists from around the globe with many “first-time-in-Providence” events.

MUST-SEE FESTIVAL EVENTS!
The Frog Bride: a new multimedia work mixes the music of Prokofiev, the paintings of Kandinsky, and a glorious Russian fairy tale with a dose of the hip-hop grooves young audiences already love. Storyteller/musician/poet David Gonzalez performs with two virtuoso musicians and a video artist. RISD Auditorium, 1:30 & 4pm (recommended for ages 6 & up; 50 minutes)
Galapagos Puppet TheaterGÇÖs Fire Cloud Cave: Extraordinary Chinese hand puppets spin plates and perform astonishing moves. Galapagos trained in Taiwan with the legendary I Wan Jan Troupe in “theater of the palm of the hand.” RISD Illustration Studies Gallery, 3pm, Waterman Street & Riverwalk.
Big Harmonica: All ages are invited to join this participatory musical event and take home your own harmonica! Chris Turner, European Harmonica Champion of 1975, and a rollicking group of guest conductors will teach you all you need to know for a grand performance and parade. Market House Garden, 4pm.
