Decker’ is a narrative history of a fictional triple-decker tenement in

South Providence and of six immigrant groups who lived there over the

course of sixty years. The piece is narrated by Marc Levitt and

storyteller Valerie Tutson. The musicians include: David Ariyan (Armenian

fiddle), Norberto Taveras (Cape Verdean guitar), Song Heng (Cambodian

xylophone), Phil Edmonds (Irish whistles), Levon Ariyan (dumbek), Carlos

DeLeon (Dominican trumpeter), Isa Coulibaly (Malian drummer). Music

director: Chris Turner. Artistic director is Winnie Lambrecht. The

performance will end with dancing!!!!!
