Works of Jacqueline Ott – through January 1st
…..5 Traverse is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Providence-based
artist Jacqueline Ott. Her dynamic works on paper twist simple combinations of
pattern into charged pearls. Ott’s mechanical process gives way to the human
hand as her colors tender theory. Ott has put together a body of work that is
as minimal as it is expansive. Jacqueline Ott received her BFA from the
University of the Arts in Philadelphia and her MFA from the Rhode Island School
of Design in Providence. She has exhibited extensively across New England,
receiving acclaim in the press and grants from the Rhode Island State Council
for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the New York Foundation
for the Arts. Ms. Ott has works in corporate, private,and museum collections.

*****PAWTUCKET ARTS FESTIVAL WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS – The existing Pawtucket
Arts Festival website needs to be updated (quickly and easily) as needed and
as more updated information is available for the City’s upcoming arts
festival. The website is the first source of information for the general public. The
website contains the following: General information, background, press
releases, newspaper articles, etc. – Calendar – overview – Complete schedule -
Specific and detailed information on each event – Contact information -
Participant instructions and forms (as appropriate) – Map and directions – List of art
vendors – Links to sponsors and other organizations – Photographs from past
events, current shots as available. The structure of the existing website as
well as the design of the homepage should accommodate adding new pages and
retain old material. The website designer needs to meet several guidelines: -
Fast-loading – Complete – Organizationally simple – Easy to update – Flexible
over time – Easy to navigate – Each page should be straightforward – Each page
easily identifiable as part of the site. Any changes to this existing
website should emphasize simplicity, ease of use and, above all, content. Any
design changes must keep in mind the need to immediately take the user to the
information they seek. Also, website pages must have a consistent appearance
(perhaps with some identifiable exceptions such as press releases), with logo
and other information as well as consistent navigational aids. Applicant should
provide: Cost and hours to design website; Monthly maintenance fee; Monthly
