Open Auditions for a new musical comedy

Open Auditions for a new musical comedy, CHRISTMASEVE, May 13 and 14 at Steinert Hall, 148 Power Street

(corner of Hope and Power) Providence, RI from 7 – 10

p.m. Actors and actresses of all ethnicities from 16

– 60 are needed to play a witch, a warlock, a devil,

crazy Cossacks, a tsarina, giddy girls and start

crossed lovers. CHRISTMAS EVE is based on a short

story by Nikolai Gogol with script and lyrics by David

Eliet and music by Nancy Rosenberg. CHRISTMAS EVE

will rehearse evenings and weekend days from May 27 –

June 5 and will be performed at The Perishable Theatre

June 6, 7, and 8. The production will be done

script-in-hand concert style. Actors should prepare a

short two minute monologue and a song for the

audition. Bring a picture and resume if available.
