Pawtucket Arts Collaborative is dedicated to supporting, promoting and developing the highest level of the arts for the community and its artists. We do this by creating awareness, education and involvement through its members.

…..The Rhode Island Watercolor Society announces the release of three new
instructional DVDs featuring a few of our most prominent members; Al
Albrektson, Carole Berren, and Richard Harrington. The DVDs were produced over the past
year in partnership with Glenn Lowney of Swansea, MA and the Swansea Public
Access TV station. Discover the wide range of watercolor techniques possible
through the mastery of fellow our Society Artist Members. Copies of the DVDs
now are part of the permanent _RIWS Art Library_

…..Now celebrating it’s 10th year – The Pawtucket Arts Festival is a
celebration of the arts in the City of Pawtucket. This growing festival highlights
artistic and cultural activities featured at various locations throughout
the City – with a kickoff concert at McCoy Stadium provided by our friends at
PawSox. Major advertising will done to promote our Festival – through radio,
TV commercials, highway billboards and local newspapers. We are inviting
artists to join us for our “Stone Soup Folk Fest/Arts Fest in Slater Park”
weekend, September 13/14 – which will be ‘topped off’ with the ending concert of
the season by the RI Philharmonic “Pops in the Park”. Rental for a 10′x10′

The Woodlawn CDC and Community Center

large, well-lit community space with local artists to display their hanging
works. The relationship between artist and community center can be arranged
depending on artist preference and include such options as a long-term solo show
with 0% commission applied to sold works, or a tax-deductible donation and
free advertising. The Woodlawn CDC is dedicated to improving the economic and
social well-being of Pawtucket’s low income residents. By adding beauty to the
Community Center, local artists can help us in our mission through their

can use outdoors. The Island will be our classroom and we’ll be drawing and
painting Rhode Island’s beautiful, natural wonder at different locations
each day. While the workshop is five days, your stay is for seven days,
arriving on Monday afternoon and leaving the following Monday morning. You will
have time to wind down, relax and enjoy the island after the workshop. Five
