IMAGO Gallery Call to Artists
IMAGO, a gallery of art and fine craft at 16 Cutler Street, has issued a call to artists for its third annual juried art competition entitled, *Works on Paper.*Those submitting work should drop off artwork at the gallery between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. on Monday, October 20 or Tuesday, October 21. Work selected for the exhibition will be on display at the gallery October 29 – November 8. A free, public reception for artists whose work is selected will be held on Friday, October 30 from 7-9 pm.
Eligible artwork includes any work on or made of paper that fits through a normal sized door. The work will be judged by Bill Newkirk, department head for the Graphic Design Department at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI.
All art work will be judged in person and must be properly framed and/or ready to hang or display. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. IMAGO members are not eligible to participate. Cash awards will be decided by the juror.
The fee for submissions is $30 for up to three submissions or $10 per piece. Fees must be paid at the time work is submitted. Checks should be made payable to IMAGO. The gallery will retain a 40 percent commission on all sales of artwork associated with the exhibit.
Work not accepted for the exhibit must be picked up from the gallery between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct 25th. The gallery will charge a $5 per day storage fee for works not picked up on time.

Established as a cooperative art gallery in August, 2003, IMAGO gallery is located on the ground floor of the Cutler mill complex at the corner of Child (Route 103) and Cutler streets in Warren. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday 12 noon to 4 p.m.
