Daniel Bernard Roumain Residency (Oct. 2-3)

Composer/performer Daniel Bernard Roumain visited Community MusicWorks at the beginning

of the month, bringing with him the world premiere of The Kompa Variations and plenty

of energy and excitement.

Orion Quartet Residency

Orion String Quartet Residency (Oct. 15-16)

The renowned Orion String Quartet spent two days with the Providence String Quartet

resulting in a wonderful free event at the West End Community Center featuring three

generations of string quartets.

this collaboration was one of the highlights of our musical career!”

Eroica Piano Trio

Community MusicWorks welcomes the Eroica Piano Trio to Providence for a free Musical

Workshop (5-6 pm) at CityArts followed by an evening concert at the Carriage House

Stage.

“Technical flair, raw, driven energy and high spirits.” -The Wall Street Journal

To celebrate their 20th anniversary season, the Eroica Piano Trio is currently touring

the country with a program of all-American music performed on electric instruments.
