Westport’s Central Village Bench-Mark design competition is open to artists in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Registration deadline February 15, 2006. Submissions due April 1, 2006.

The Westport Central Village Bench-Mark Design Competition invites artists and designers to submit design solutions that will create five artful places for people to sit along Main Road in Central Village, Westport. Full details about the competition are posted on the Westport Arts Council website at www.westportartscouncil.org. Cash awards of $2500 will be awarded for the five selected designs. In addition, $10,000 to $25,000 is available for the construction of the Bench-Marks. The design competition is sponsored by the Westport Arts Council.
