Help Future Filmakers

The Media Education Alliance is looking for folks to help on the day of the first youth-targeted event, “Give Me Five” brought together by this collection of non-profit organizations. If you’ve been looking to help with an all-ages event, we could use volunteers on the day of this event to wrangle audience, take tickets, set up signs, hand out t-shirts, take pictures, give out programs, etc.

It’s a really fun group that’s putting this together, and RIFC is one of the sponsors. If you’re able to help on Saturday, May 9th, please email us or Sherry Brown at sherry@arts.ri.gov. There will also be an optional planning meeting for volunteers Tuesday Night, April 28th if you’d like more details.

The planning meeting and the event will both take place at Bishop Hendricken School. That’s at 2615 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Bishop+Hendricken+High+School&fb=1&near=Warwick,+RI&cd=1&cid=0,0,4446317681716769415&li=lmd&z=14&t=m
