MAY GALLERY NIGHT

May 21 AT OUR NEW LOCATION

ONE REGENCY PLAZA

 

WHAT:

Gallery Night Providence’s 13th Season. Join us for a fun-filled cultural

extravaganza. Twenty-one galleries, museums, and historic sites; seven

convenient parking lots; live music; refreshments; art buses; Celebrity

guides and it’s all FREE!

 

WHEN:

The Third Thursday, May 21 from 5 to 9 p.m.

 

WHERE:

Meet at any one of the galleries and jump on the art bus, or park behind One

Regency Plaza, where the art buses pick up and depart every twenty-five

minutes or so.

 

NEW INFORMATION CENTER

For 2009, Gallery Night Providence offers a new location for our central Art

Bus depot and information booth. As of March 19, we are located at One

Regency Plaza in downtown Providence best described, in true Rhode Island

fashion, as directly behind where the old Providence Police Station used to

be. Kitty corner from the rear of the Providence Public Library on Greene

Street, a hop skip and a jump from the Dunkin Donuts Center, One Regency

Plaza offers us our first time ever indoor information booth for those rare

less-than-perfect evenings in Providence.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Designer Andrea Valentini will be a special guest guide on one of the

Wickenden Loop bus tours. In addition, the Wickenden Loop is hosting a

“Wickenden Loop Raffle”. Sign up for our monthly raffle when you visit one

of the galleries or museums on this route during Gallery Night. Increase

your chances by visiting all four of our Wickenden spots! We will draw the

winner the Friday after Gallery Night. All of our prizes are from our

neighborhood. This month, our raffle prize is a a gift certificate from

Noodles

Reilly Gallery and Hunt -Cavanagh Gallery at Providence College and the

Chazan Gallery at Wheeler.

* Take I-95 northbound to Exit 21 (Broadway)

* Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Broadway

* Bear a right onto Empire Street

* Take the second right at light onto Washington Street

* Take a right on to Greene Street and take a left into the second parking

lot on the left (for One Regency Plaza)

* Concierge will direct you

From the North

* Take I-95 southbound to Exit 21 (Atwells Avenue)

* At the third light, turn left onto Washington Street

* Take a left on to Greene Street and take a left into the second parking

lot on the left (for One Regency Plaza)
