Dear Cristina,

Do you have a project that will inspire and support intellectual curiosity and imagination in all Rhode Islanders through lifelong learning? Consider applying for funding from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities (RICH).

Our Major Grant Intent to Apply deadline is quickly approaching. In order to be eligible for consideration for this year’s Major Grants Cycle, you must submit your Intent by September 1st at 5 PM. Major Grants are awarded to Non-Profit Organizations and are specifically for projects seeking funds over $2000.

Developing a smaller project? Consider applying for one of our Monthly Mini Grants. Mini Grants are awarded on a monthly basis to both Non-Profit Organizations and Individual Researchers for projects requesting up to $2000. Mini Grant applications are due on the first of each month.

Submitting a Draft
writingRICH grants staff accepts drafts to assist grantseekers in the application process. Those applying for the Major Grants Cycle must have their drafts submitted by September 21st at the latest to receive comments from staff.

Please keep in mind, the instructions and documents on our website are a great resource and grantees often find it helpful to investigate these materials in preparation for their conversations with staff and draft submission.
