| IN THE SPOTLIGHT: CALLING ALL ARTISTS! | |
With recent data updates and over 30,000 directory entries — nearly 3,000 added since January — there is no better time to be a part of NEFA’s creative economy database and research tool.
“It’s a no-brainer,” said Tim Gaudreau, New Hampshire-based eco-artist. Tim is currently working on a NEFA-supported public art project in Waterville, ME and has been registered on CultureCount since 2008. “NEFA is making it easy for artists to participate in the conversation, and, as artists, we have a responsibility to make sure we are included.“In addition to offering artists of any discipline another opportunity for visibility, artists like Tim use the site to understand the communities in which they work by reviewing the area’s demographics, arts organizations, and creative businesses. Make sure you count! Visit CultureCount.org and click on New User to create a user account and add your artist or creative business entry to the database. |
