June 1, 2010 is the next deadline for NEFA’s
New England States Touring (NEST) and Meet the Composer/New England grant programs.
NEST
NEST provides support to nonprofit organizations based in New England for performances and activities by select New England performing artists from outside of the presenter’s home state.
NEST artists are performing artists from New England who meet the NEST Artist Requirements on MatchBook.org. They represent a wide range of disciplines, such as chamber music, contemporary dance, opera, spoken word, puppet theater, and storytelling.
There are currently over 300 artists eligible for NEST and any New England performing artist who meets the NEST Artist Requirements can become eligible.
More information on NEST
Meet the Composer
With support from Meet the Composer, Inc., NEFA offers grants to nonprofit organizations in New England to provide interaction between New England-based composers and audiences, related to specific performances of the composer’s work.
