Wood Works Exhibition in Pawtucket
Pawtucket Arts Collaborative presents: “Wood Works” - a collective exhibit by Pawtucket wood artisans – Adam Agnello, Douglas Benoit, Corwin Butterworth and Otto D’Ambrosio March 5 – April 21, 2006, Pawtucket Arts Collaborative Gallery, 175 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860Opening Reception: Thursday, March 9 – 5:30-7:30pm
Pawtucket: Four members of the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative are featured in the Pawtucket-based arts group’ upcoming exhibit titled “Wood Works” – a collective exhibit by Pawtucket wood artisans Adam Agnello, Douglas Benoit, Corwin Butterworth and Otto D’Ambrosio from March 5 through April 21, 2006. Artwork in this exhibit features many exquisite designs using a variety of wood, which includes musical instruments, furniture and other 3 dimensional pieces of artwork. Artwork featured in this exhibit is available for purchase. The public is invited to meet the artists on Thursday, March 9 from 5:30-7:30pm.
The Pawtucket Arts Collaborative Gallery, located at 175 Main Street, Pawtucket, is located in the City of Pawtucket’s “Arts & Entertainment District” and is a state-certified Art Gallery, where one-of-a-kind items are exempt from sales tax on any artwork sold. The gallery is open 7-days a week, from 9:00am-5:00pm. The staff of the Blackstone Valley Visitor Center will be happy to assist you with all sales and purchases during this exhibit. Founded in October, 2000, the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative is a non-profit organization dedicated to ‘supporting, promoting and developing the arts for the community and its artists. We do this by creating awareness, education and involvement through its members’.
