The Contemporary Theater Company announces auditions for its 7th annual 24-Hour Play Festival. The auditions will be held on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Towers in Narragansett.

The 24-Hour Play Festival is the company’s signature event and will be held Jan. 7 at the South Kingstown High School Auditorium. This unique event gives six writers, six directors, and 24 actors one day to create and present an original lineup of six short plays. The performance at 8 p.m. is open to the public.

Actors should prepare a brief comedic monologue for the audition.
