Triboro Youth Theatre Seeks Artistic Director / Business manager

Start Date: Fall 2012
Artistic Director: Triboro Youth Theatre-seeks a forward-thinking leader to succeed the retiring Artistic Director (and a co-founder) of TYT, providing leadership and assuming overall responsibility for the implementation of the Theatre’s mission. Applicants should have experience with financial and staff management, fundraising, marketing, and possess the artistic vision and leadership skills needed to propel the Theatre to the next level. Successful candidates will value TYT’s mission to provide cultural enrichment for young people through the performing arts. The Artistic Director is also responsible for the direction of all productions.
Business Manager: This person will work with the company in all business and financial operations. The candidate should have the following skills/abilities: Ability to generate detailed financial reports, assist in financial planning for the company including production budgets, ticket management, grant writing, and all other administrative responsibilities.
Both positions report directly to the Board of Directors and do not include benefits.
The Theatre organization would consider combining both roles into one position for the right candidate.
