Free Cultural Data Project Workshops

ANNOUNCING NEW RICH MAJOR GRANT REQUIREMENT
Rhode Island Council for the
Humanities will require Cultural Date Project (CDP) reporting for the fall 2012
Major Grant proposals from all arts, cultural, and humanities organizations
(schools and social service organizations are exempt). CDP reporting is
currently required by many funders, including Rhode Island State Council on the
Arts and The Rhode Island Foundation.

Cultural Data Project
(CDP)
is an online management tool designed to strengthen arts and
cultural organizations. This unique system allows users to track their own
financial and programmatic performance over time and to benchmark themselves
against comparable organizations in specific disciplines, geographic regions and
budget sizes.

RICH highly recommends that all arts and cultural
organizations considering an application to RICH take advantage of this free
workshop orientation offered by CDP. The new user orientation will walk you
through the process of entering data, applying to participating grantmakers, and
using the CDP’s powerful reporting features. Two free orientations will be held
in Rhode Island on May 17 and 18, 2012. Refreshments will be
served. Please use the links below to register.
