Calls For Entry From The Angelnook Gallery
The Angelnook Gallery is seeking Installation/ Sculptural artworks that can be fixed outside of the gallery. These pieces will be installed per season; Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. We are currently looking for artists that are interested in exposure of their work and often feel their work is too big for being indoors. Obviously the work needs to be able to withstand weather and would need to be able to fit in the gardens outside the gallery. This is a great opportunity for Students and Emerging artists. The exhibition of this work will focus on art inspired by artists’ interpretation of the Metaphysical and Spiritual and will be held at the Angelnook Gallery seasonally.
Surreal Spiritual

Angelnook Gallery presents the group thematic exhibition, Surreal Spiritual. This exhibition will focus on art inspired by artists’ interpretation of Surreal Spiritual and will be held at the Angelnook Gallery from June 9th-July 8th , 2012. Eligible for all art forms relating to or gaining inspiration from Surreal Spiritual. The Spiritual and Metaphysical is often seen as an intangible or dreamlike state, a creation describing this state would also tend to lean toward the Surreal. This show is for Surrealists, all artists interpretations of the Surreal Spiritual that fall into the Surreal category and conceptual will be reviewed and considered.

Angelnook Gallery presents the group thematic exhibition, Spirit in Nature. This exhibition will focus on art inspired by artists’ interpretation of Spirit in Nature and will be held at the Angelnook Gallery from July 14th-August 12th, 2012. Eligible for all art forms relating to or gaining inspiration from Spirit in Nature. There is life within nature and spirits from long ago imbedded in the face of the trees, ground, sky, and sometimes to a depth that is hard to perceive or pushing itself through the concrete in the road. Depict your idea of Spirit in Nature in the way that spirits reveal themselves to you in the environment that surrounds us. All artist interpretations of the Spirit in Nature from the realist to the abstract and conceptual will be reviewed and considered.

Eligible for all art forms relating to or gaining inspiration from Mandala Meditation. A Mandala can pertain to the unconcious self, unity, space, cosmos and the universe as well as the nature of experience. Make your Mandala your Meditation… All artist interpretations of the Mandala Meditation from the realist to the abstract and conceptual will be reviewed and considered.

This exhibition will focus on art inspired by artists’ interpretation of Art That Heals and will be held at the Angelnook Gallery from September 22nd- October 21st , 2012. Eligible for all art forms relating to or gaining inspiration from Art That Heals. How can Art Heal? The act of creating in any form can produce a healing effect. Whether it is through sculpture, paint, or sound; the creation of something deeper than one can understand can change ones attitude , emotional state , and alleviate pain. Healing comes from within us as so does the creation of art. Create your own Healing Art.
