Girls Rock! Rhode Island (GRR!) is hosting a Volunteer Info Session on June 2nd at the AS220 performance space. Come by and learn about volunteer positions for our annual Girls Rock Camp!

If you’ve already volunteered, bring a friend! If you’ve been meaning to volunteer, but haven’t, NOW is your chance to learn more!

Just a few of the benefits of volunteering for Girls Rock! Rhode Island: –YOU can help girls express themselves and learn how awesome they are! –YOU can meet lots of awesome people and become a part of the GRR! community! –YOU can use your skills in a super fun and productive way! –YOU can use it on your resume or for college credit! –YOU can learn about youth development and about music! –YOU can find the music- or non-music-related position that suits you and your schedule!

Anyone interested in helping out a great cause for a week this summer, feel free to come stop by to see what opportunities we have for you! This event is by no means limited to women only, we are calling on the entire community to help the girls of Rhode Island rock our socks off!

Girls Rock Camp is happening July 9th-13th at the Rhode Island Philharmonic and we’d love to have you there!

The mission of Girls Rock! Rhode Island is to help girls and women empower themselves through the development of musical skills in order to foster self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-efficacy.
