Insiders at the Arts Council call it “creepy”. It’s just thirteen days ’till our April 1 deadline, and the phones are strangely silent. I guess people don’t realize that your best chance for success is:

Talking to Council staff about your project.

Sharing a draft of your project narrative with Council staff before the deadline (in time for us to mark it up and send it back), and

Getting your finished application to us by the deadline date.

Actually, that last one is a requirement. If you don’t get your application to us by 4:00pm on Friday, April 1, you have no chance of getting a grant. The other two items are recommendations from saavy grant-writers.
