Laura Colella’s Tax Day - Free Screenings
Friday, August 31st, 2007

Well, the True Brew show last Friday was very special indeed! Chuck E. Costa played a beautiful opening set. Lots of familiar and new fans and friends were in attendance. I played my newest song, Here In My House, and Kim let me play my top secret new song, which will be the name of my next CD. Everyone told me how much they loved both new songs, and we are all getting really excited for the next album. We are hoping I will write the rest of the album (at least 3 more songs) while on retreat at Star Island next week. I can’t wait.Right after Star, I will be traveling to Buffalo NY for a much-anticipated reunion with my fans there! I will be performing for my friend Tim Baldwin’s birthday bash, at the legendary Nietzsche’s. I can’t wait to see my long-lost Buffalo fans. They have been patiently waiting since April 2004 for my return! I will then be traveling back to the Dreamaway Lodge in Becket MA, because I love that place so much. I hope to see you at these two special shows! A week after I return home, I am performing at RI Pagan Pride. And RavenFest is manifesting beautifully at Black Rep on October 28th. I will give you more RavenFest details in the next few weeks, but for now, save the date!

SOUNDSCAPE 2007
http://www.soundscape2007.com/
In June we had 1000 people on a two-day event, it was so much fun, we are doing it again. So please join me it’s going to be an evening of great jazz and art collaborative… bring friends! The next and last SOUNDSCAPE 2007 will be held at:
368 Congress St. in Fort Point Channel, Boston, MA, 02210
Friday September 14 and Saturday September 15 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PMSOUNDSCAPE is a synergistic interaction of sight, sound, and crowd motion. Sixteen musicians will perform simultaneously, each one only in response to their two neighboring musicians. They will be spread throughout the gallery, separated by wall configurations which function both as sound barriers and interactive environments where visual artists will create site-specific artworks of video, sculpture, architecture, and interactive sound and light installation. The works will be created in response to the music and the space. As the audience moves throughout the space to view the artwork, the sound modulates and transforms. This layering of visual and auditory experience is the essence of SOUNDSCAPE. The event will be held on September 14th and Saturday September 15th at 368 Congress St. in the Fort Point Channel area of Boston. Please contact info@SOUNDSCAPE2007.com to receive a reminder invite closer to that date and get on our mailing list. ADMISSION IS FREE.
