The Northern Rhode Island Council of the Arts’ mission statement is to upgrade community life by means of the arts. We have decided to embark on a series of small events that we would like to call A.R.T. events-”Arts Renaissance Today.” We thought that Autumnfest would be a wonderful venue for one of these events! We noticed that the pond is one of the only areas not being utilized and so that is where our creative minds focused. A “floating” sculpture contest was the result. We are not looking for boats! This is not a boat design contest!
1st prize: $500.00
2nd prize: $250.00
3rd prize: $100.00
Submissions are open to professionals, amateurs, teams and organizations. There is no entrance fee. Art work will be judged by design professionals at 1:00 pm. Please see the application for parameters. Applications may be mailed to the address below or emailed.
