The School of Vocal Arts would like to announce our 1st ever Saturday morning classes for kids!!!
The “Bells” Ages 6-8
$125.00 for 8 one hour weekly classes
Saturdays 9:30 – 10:30AM
The “Chimes” Ages 8-10
Saturdays 10:45AM – 12:15PM
Chimes - $175.00 for 8 one and 1/2 hours weekly classes
Taught by Ellen Santaniello, M.Mus, on the East Side of Providence, both classes will focus on vocal skills, vocal play, improvisation, percussion, self-expression and elementary musicianship. (Please see Ellen’s bio, below)

Ellen Santaniello, M.Mus, has enjoyed an international performing career as a singer and percussionist in a range of musical styles that includes medieval polyphony, Baroque oratorio, Romantic art song, American popular song, swing and jazz, folk music from around the world, and original pop music. She was the co-founder of the women’s early vocal trio ZORGINA, with whom she toured and recorded from 1993 - 2005. She’s appeared as a soloist with numerous New England-based orchestras, and has performed nationally and internationally with the Boston Camerata, Ensemble Oni Wytars (Germany), Ensemble Unicorn (Austria), The Terra Nova Consort, and Hesperus. In addition to performance, Ellen has worked as a sound designer, music director, and composer for Groundwerx Dance Theatre and Perishable Theatre in Providence, RI. She has a Master of Music in vocal performance from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, and has been on the voice faculty of The Music School, Inc. and Rhode Island College. Her recordings appear on the Naxos, Deutsche Helicon, Twinberg, and Erato labels. Ellen is our new “Vocal Arts FOR KIDS” teacher!
