Sixth $50,000 Literary Gift of Freedom: Creative Nonfiction, Fiction, Poetry, and Playwrighting

We are excited to announce the next Gift of Freedom competition for Creative Nonfiction, Fiction, Playwrighting, and Poetry. The application window will be November 1, 2009 through October 10, 2010 (the postmark deadline for applications).

One winner in any genre will be chosen for the $50,000 grant, and a finalist from each remaining genre will be selected. The winner and finalists will be honored guests at an AROHO-sponsored Gift of Freedom event.

We wish you all boundless audacity, strength, and courage in embarking on the application process!
