To All RISCA Grant Applicants in the Spring of 2012 There are a number of important things for you to know if you intend to apply for a RISCA grant to support programs or activities during the period from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. If you are an applicant to RISCA’s Education Program, the deadline for applications has been extended to May 1, 2012. RISCA has switched to a new online grant application system, and we are allowing more time to get this application up and running and for you to familiarize yourself with this new system. The grants program for Education has not changed for 2012-2013, with the exception of the one-time extension of the April 1 deadline to May 1 for this year. Applications from schools, non-profits and individuals working in education will be accepted for the May 1 deadline. Click here to begin an application in our new online grant system. You will begin by registering in the new system, which means clicking on the grey button that says "Create New Account". You will be asked for contact and organizational information. You will also be asked to create a password to be used for your application. Once you’ve registered and signed in you should see a list of open applications. Choose the Project Grants in Education option. You might want to view a short 5 minute video on using the new online grant application system. We acknowledge that learning in and through the arts plays a critical role in the growth and development of our youngest citizens. Through our grants and services, we support artists and cultural organizations collaborating with schools and other educational entities.
