Scenes of Rhode Island

The Scenes of Rhode Island Exhibition and Awards was established as a partnership between the Governor’s Office and the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, for the purpose of promoting the artistic talent and aesthetic beauty which abounds throughout the State.

Governor Donald Carcieri and the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts invite Rhode Island artists to submit work(s) for the Scenes of Rhode Island Exhibit and Awards. Art must be two-dimensional, original works that in some way depict the Ocean State, that have not been previously entered into the Scenes of Rhode Island Exhibition and Awards, nor have been reproduced or widely shown. The next deadline for submissions will be announced shortly.
